Storypaced is a national black-owned production house for visual media. Our mission is to tell your story in the way that best serves your needs. Through that process, we support your vision by creating:

We’ve produced lots of storytelling pieces, all with different audiences and goals, but always with the mission to bring out the most authentic and compelling narrative.

Past Work

Marketing videos

Urban Ed Academy, based in the Bay Area, is a non-profit with the mission to increase the number of black male-identifying educators in the classroom. We produced a video advertisement aimed at inspiring soon-to-be college graduates to take an interest in their fellowship.

Event Storytelling

The Surge Institute is a national nonprofit with the mission to elevate and connect emerging leaders of color in education. The Convening is Surge’s biggest event, and StoryPaced was able to cover it and deliver a story that was informative, inspiring, and deeply moving.

Documentary Shorts

In 2019, Surge sought to create an informative piece explaining just how important it is to have diverse and transformative leadership in the education system. Chris Paicely was tasked with leading this project seeking out interview subjects and working with several filmmakers all over the United States to tell this story. Out of this project Shades of Leadership was born.

Promos

In 2023, BandWith Chicago sought to raise funds for their music programs, so we produced a series of videos for them to use in their fundraising efforts. This one came from the voices of those most impacted by BandWith’s work: the students!

Sizzle Reels

As part of its rebrand effort, the Surge Institute launched a new campaign called Soar with Surge. To draw attention to their new era, Surge asked StoryPaced to develop a promotional sizzle reel bringing voice to this new chapter in their work.
